It also detoxifies ammonia by converting ammonia into a safe non-toxic form to be removed by the tank s biofilter. It also detoxifies nitrite nitrate and heavy metals found in tap water. Use non-acidic seachem prime at start-up tank cycling or when adding or replacing water. Instructions: use 1 capful (5 m l) for each 200 l (50 us gallons) of new water.
