Seachem de*nitrate is a highly porous filtration product designed for the effective removal and control of nitrates in both marine and freshwater aquariums. It provides an economical and natural solution to maintaining optimal water quality. This product is a porous, inorganic solid with a diameter of approximately 4 mm.

de*nitrate stands out due to its unique pore distribution and geometry, promoting both aerobic nitrification in the outer layers and anaerobic denitrification within its core. This dual functionality eliminates nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, and organic matter.
